There are few things better than a cozy neighborhood restaurant that serves great pizza and wine.

The idea for Bettina Pizzaria was born in Italy but raised in California. The wood-fired pizza mixed with Southern California’s fresh produce is a match made in foodie heaven.

Bettina is perfect for any occasion. You can call and make a reservation or order takeout. The bar is first-come, first-serve. The entire menu is available at the bar.

Sustainable Sourcing

Bettina doesn’t take shortcuts when it comes to using only the best ingredients.

They hand shop at the Santa Barbra Certified Farmer’s Market every week. In fact, most of their produce and citrus come directly from the farmers.

Bettina isn’t all about making a profit; they also give back to the community they serve.

Every month, they donate the proceeds from one pizza to a charity.

Previous charities include:

  • World Central Kitchen
  • Vitamin Angels
  • Transition House
  • Santa Barbara Food Bank

The menu is filled with incredible pizza options. There are 11 full-sized pizzas to choose from and one for the kids.

You can order a pizza as is or choose one of their add-ons for an extra cost. Whichever option you choose, you get a pizza with naturally leavened dough made with organic flour and fermented for at least 48 hours.

If you’re not in the mood for pizza, all of their salads are also excellent choices.

They have an extensive wine list if you want something to wash the pizza down.

The cocktail list is large as well. It includes alcoholic options such as their Black Manhattan (Rye whiskey, Averna, sweet vermouth, and angostura) and Angeleno Icebox Mezcal (amaro Angeleno, chartreuse, passionfruit, and vanilla).

They also have non-alcoholic options such as their Shirley’s Playground (grapefruit soda and pomegranate) and Bambi (ginger, honey, lime, and club soda).
