It feels like new restaurants pop up every week.

They don’t all survive; plenty come and go.

Only great restaurants are here to stay. Ontario is home to several of those types of restaurants.

Vince’s Spaghetti is undoubtedly one of those places that are here to stay. It has excellent food and rich history.

The Original Vince’s Spaghetti

The Original Vince’s Spaghetti in Ontario opened way back in September 1945.

At the time, it was a simple, six-stool, open-air restaurant without a kitchen. The food was made in a kitchen 50 yards away. Despite its small beginnings, it was an immediate hit.

Its early success led to continued growth. Today Vince’s in Ontario seats more than 400 people. It’s also grown to 3 locations, all family-owned and operated.

The Rancho Cucamonga location opened in 1984. There is also a location in Temecula.

Eating at the Ontario location is almost like being transported back in time. It looks and feels exactly like an old-timey Italian red sauce restaurant

The Menu

As weird as it sounds, Vince’s Spaghetti didn’t start with spaghetti. At first, it served orange juice, beer, and French Dips. The spaghetti came later.

Today French Dips are still on the menu, but spaghetti is the unquestioned star.

If practice makes perfect, Vince’s spaghetti is perfect. They make over 30 tons of spaghetti every month. That adds up to over 25,000 miles of spaghetti every year. With all that practice, it would be impossible not to be good.

Everyone should try the spaghetti at least once, but their French Dip and meatball sandwiches are also great.

There is also a large selection of beer and wine to wash down your meal.
