Do you think a restaurant can pay $27 an hour, cover health care costs, provide 80 hours of paid time off, and still turn a profit?
Bell’s French Bistro manages to do just that.
How do they manage it?
My guess would be the high-quality food and the great overall dining experience. Having well-treated, happy employees probably doesn’t hurt either.
Belle’s Restaurant
Bell’s is a family-run French-inspired bistro that opened in 2018. Since its opening, it’s won many awards, including being named one of Esquire’s Best New Restaurants.
However, the great food is only one part of the restaurant's appeal. They also take the hospitality aspect seriously. They aim to be a positive contributor to their community. Their commitment to treating their employees well only helps with that goal.
Food
If you’re looking for excellent budget restaurant options, Los Angeles has plenty of those.
But, if you're looking for something higher quality, Belle’s is the place for you.
Their lunch menu has plenty of tasty options. I recommend both their Egg Salad Sandwich and Braised Beef Cheek Sandwich.
The dinner menu is one of the best around. Both their Steak and Salmon options are among the best Los Angeles offers.
No meal is complete without something to drink. Their drink menu has a little something for everyone. There are several great beer options, but wine is the menu's star. With such a large variety of options, every wine lover will find something they love.
