4 of the San Fernando Valley's top eateries

The San Fernando Valley is one of the best parts of L.A. County. There are so many fun things to do there.

If you’re a movie buff, you can visit Universal Studios or enjoy a tour of the Warner Bros. Studio. History buffs will enjoy the Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana. Lake Balboa Park offers a natural escape from the concrete jungle that is Los Angeles. Shoppers will never get bored on Ventura Boulevard

Whatever fun activities you choose, you eventually need to eat something. Thankfully, The Valley also has fantastic restaurants. Here are four great options.

Petit Trois

Petit Trois’ first location in Hollywood was a smashing success. Somehow their second location manages to be larger in every way, from its physical size to the menu.

The menu has all the options you would expect from a French bistro. My favorite is the Big Mec (pictured above), a double cheeseburger with bordelaise, special sauce, and frites.

Monday — Friday: 12 pm- 10 pm

Saturday — Sunday: 8 am- 10 pm

Located just a few blocks away from California State University Northridge, Lum-Ka-Naad serves some of the best Thai food around.

Lum-Ka-Naad serves all the Thai food favorites that you could think of. But, fair warning, they are known for their spice. Order with caution if you don’t care for spicy food.

Monday — Wednesday 11 am- 11 pm

Thursday: 11 am- 2 am

Friday — Saturday: 11 am- 2 am

Sunday: 11 am- 11:30 pm

Furnsaj Bakery

Furnsaj Bakery has been serving authentic Lebanese cuisine since 2013. Their commitment to using nothing but the freshest ingredients has turned it into one of the top-rated Mediterranean restaurants in Los Angeles.

The menu is full of great options, but the shawarma is a can’t miss dish.

The Granada Hills location is the original, but they have since expanded to Glendora, Calabasas, and San Diego.

Monday: Closed

Tuesday — Sunday: 7 am- 9 pm

Address: 11146 Balboa Blvd Granada Hills, CA 91344

Boneyard Bistro

Los Angeles County has no shortage of great BBQ restaurants, but Boneyard Bistro still manages to stand out. Their high-quality meats and delicious sides are some of the best around.

Whether you’re in the mood for ribs, brisket, or something else, they have something for you on the menu

If you like specials, Boneyard Bistro has some great options for you.

They serve Traditional Fried and Nashville Style Hot Chicken every Monday with 25% off draft beers.

Stop by Monday through Thursday between 4:30 and 6:30 for happy hour.
