The City of Long Beach has a lot going for it.
It’s home to the Port of Long Beach, the second busiest container port in the United States.
It also has some great waterfront attractions, like the RMS Queen Mary and the Aquarium of the Pacific.
Long Beach also has plenty of great beaches. No great beach trip is complete without a good meal.
Here are four great restaurant options worth trying on your next trip to Long Beach.
A&J Seafood Shack
Nothing goes with a day at the beach like seafood.
A&J Seafood Shack serves some of the best seafood around. It’s a family-run Cambodian Style Asian Fusion restaurant that opened in 2020.
Each order is made with only the freshest vegetables and seafood around.
It’s takeout only, which gives you the perfect excuse to eat at the beach.

Ammatoli
Levantine cuisine is the traditional cuisine of the Eastern Mediterranean. It’s commonly found in Cyprus, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, and Syria.
Ammatoli has done a great job bringing Levantine Cuisine to Southern California.
The menu is heath-oriented and vegetable-heavy, which means nothing but the freshest ingredients are used.
Come Monday through Friday from 3 pm — 6 pm if you want to enjoy their Happy Hour menu.

La Chancla Mexican Grill
Great Mexican food is the staple of the Southern California restaurant scene. La Chancla doesn’t disappoint.
La Chancla’s authentic Tacos de Guisados are made with delicious Hand-made tortillas. All their tacos are delicious, but their Taco Spicy Shrimp tacos are my favorite.
If you’re not in the mood for tacos, they also have burritos, quesadillas, salad bowls, dinner plates, and nachos.

La Parolaccia is a family-owned business that opened back in 2006. They have more than achieved their goal of bringing homestyle Italian cooking to Long Beach.
At La Parolaccia, everyone is treated like family. So, bring your family down and enjoy some great pizza, pasta, and wine.
