Downtown Los Angeles has no shortage of things to do. But at its core, L.A. is a sports town. The Lakers, Clippers, and Los Angles Kings all call Staples Center home.

If you are looking for a good place to grab a bite to eat before or after catching a game, you are in luck. There is no shortage of great restaurants nearby.

Here are three great places to eat close to Staples Center.

Perro 110

Mexican food is popular all over Southern California, and few things scream great Mexican food like a taco truck.

Perro 110 serves authentic tacos from two different locations. They serve handmade flour tortillas straight from Tijuana. They are some of the best tacos you will find on this side of the border.

Patxi’s Pizza

If you are looking for a great Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, look no further than Patxi’s Pizza.

Patxi’s Pizza first opened in Palo Alto back in 2004. It was such a success that they had no option but to expand. Today they have locations all over California as well as Colorado and Seattle.

They have a little bit of something for everyone. If deep dish pizza isn’t your thing, they have thin crust options. They also have enough topping options to satisfy meat lovers, vegans, and everything in between. If you’re not in the mood for pizza, they have a delicious selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches.
