As the pandemic starts to wind down, many people are making travel plans.

For some, those plans will involve getting a Covid test.

Domestic flights typically don’t require a test, but you are welcome to get one if you want.

The list of countries ready to welcome American tourists is growing by the day. Most of those countries will require a test or vaccination.

Covid Clinic Ontario

The Covid Clinic has all of your testing needs covered. It has a location at the Ontario Airpot.

The address is 2500 E. Airport Dr., Ontario, CA 91761.

When you arrive at the airport, enter parking lot 3.

You will need to take a parking ticket to enter the lot. However, a Coivd Clinic worker will let you out after the test so that you don’t need to pay for parking.

Hours

You need to make an appointment beforehand. There are no walk-ups accepted at this time.

It’s open daily from 6:30 AM-10:30 PM.

If you have any problems scheduling your appointment, their email customer service (info@covidclinic.org) responds quickly.

Testing Experience

When you arrive for your appointment, there will be a line of cars. Just pull up behind the last car and wait for an attendant.

An attendant will check for your email confirmation sent to you after you schedule your appointment.

You stay in your car the entire time. The tester will come right up to your window.

Getting Your Results

There is no need to wait around afterward. The clinic will send your test results to your email.

The amount of time varies based on the type of test you get. For example, the results for an Antigen test take 30 minutes, but a PCR test takes 1 hour.

Prices

The prices vary based on the type of test you get. So be sure to check which type of test your destination requires.

If a test isn’t required, I recommend an Antigen test. Antigen tests are much cheaper than PCR tests.

Here are the current prices as of 5/30/2021

  • 30-minute Antibody ($75)
  • 30-minute Antigen ($75-$99)
  • 30-minute Antigen + Flu combo ($149)
  • 1 hour PCR ($299)
  • 1 day PCR ($150)(accepted by Hawaii)
