If you are looking for something fun to do with the whole family this weekend, the city of Fontana has just the thing.
They are hosting a drive-thru Easter Egg hunt at the Jessie Turner Center in Fontana.
This is a free event that is suitable for the whole family.
Best of all, it is done entirely from the comfort of your own vehicle.
There is no registration required. Just show up with your family and enjoy the egg hunt.
The Jessie Turner Center is located at 15556 Summit Avenue.
Fontana, CA 92335.
They ask that vehicles enter from the northernmost entrance of Fontana Park off Knox Avenue.
Don’t worry; there will be signs posted, so you can’t miss it.
This event will take place Sat, April 3rd, from 10 AM-5 PM.
How is it different
In a normal year, this event looks much different.
For one, you could all get out of your cars. They usually set up a huge Easter Egg hunt in a big field for kids of all ages to enjoy. Hundreds of families usually show up, it’s a lot of fun.
After the egg hunt, there are usually many carnival-style games set up for families to enjoy.
This year, due to Covid, everything will be inside your car. Don’t let that stop you, though. It will still be a lot of fun, especially if you have young kids.
The pictures of the drive-thru Easter will be fun to show your kids years from now. They can serve as visual examples of how different Covid times were.
