"I am looking to move away from planet fitness and I'm considering new gyms but I have a bit of a list. So if you all have opinions about any of these places please chime in! I am considering anytime fitness, LA fitness, Crunch, and Ironclad Gym. "
About Crunch fitness, my main issue with them is that it’s almost always overcrowded, but for the price you can’t beat the equipment they have.
I left PF for EsportA, which is basically a concept form LA Fitness. I’m happy with the offerings and cost. They have all the machines, weights, a studio, a full basketball court, large lap pool and all for like $10 a month.
If you have health insurance check with them to see if they do a gym discount program. Bcbs has fitness your way. $30 a month no contract and can sign up with as many gyms as you like. On the website it tells you which gyms fall under the program.
I like 24 hour fitness because it has the same number of treadmills/elliptical/steppers etc that planet fitness had, but also a decent amount of weights. I tried LA fitness, but the one I went to only had a handful of cardio equipment. Anytime Fitness had the same problem.
If your budget allows for it 24 Hour Fitness is the best I've found by a mile if you value the wet area. Good amount of locations in Orlando to if you're like me and end up a lot of different places by the end of the day.
