Atwood Lake Campground | Mineral City, OH

We had a great time camping at Atwood Lake. It is an immaculate park and they have so many amenities than most campgrounds we have been to. They have an activity center where they always have some type of agenda for the kids. Also, next to the activity center they have concessions where you can order food such as hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, sloppy joes...etc. They even have Hershey's Ice Cream with a huge selection. They have a beach that you can swim and concessions if you get hungry while you are there. They have basketball courts, playgrounds, sand volleyball shuffleboard courts, and trails to hike. Their facilities were clean and well maintained. They have many festivals throughout the year and have a boat marina that you can rent boats, kayaks and paddle boats. We just didn't like how close the sites were and there were no trees around our site for shade and we love to be surrounded by trees while camping. Our lake view was beautiful. If you go stay on that site!!
