I went to Fourney’s Transportation Museum a while back with my brother to check out their rather “odd” or, say, “unique” collection of vehicles such as A bashed up Herby the love bug, Amelia Eaherts Car, and one of the world’s largest locomotives.
The museum has a collection of about 500 exhibits which are superbly maintained. In its early years, the museum used to focus on antique automobiles, but soon the focus was moved towards other modes of transport as well.
You would find a great collection of real and replica old cars from pretty nostalgic movies. Since my brother is somewhat a train enthusiast, he was pretty stoked to have visited the place, and he loved the retired Union Pacific "Big Boy" steam locomotive, the largest ever built.
There are so many exhibits available that it is impossible to inform you about everything, so what are you waiting for? If you are a vehicle enthusiast or a history lover like me in that regard, then it is a no-brainer not to pay a visit to this place.
Go, visit and enjoy one of the unique collections of vehicles on offer and please do try to donate a bit as these places cost a lot to operate.
