A Home To The Iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater And One Of The Best Hiking Trails!

If you are looking for an easy and aesthetic hike near Denver, Red Rocks Park is definitely the best bet if you haven’t visited it yet; But why is it so?

The Red Rocks Park is at a distance of 16.8 miles and 25 minutes from Denver. The trading Post trail is a 1.4-mile loop surrounded by scintillating red rock formations.

With red rocks and fresh greenery making for a unique combination, I reckon this trail is best experienced in the spring and early summer. Although the Trading Post Trail is a short and easy hike, some areas can get icy in winters, making it useful even in winters, which further adds to the diversity of this particular trail.

However, if this trail seems a bit too straightforward to you, then I guess you should try out the Red Rocks Trail. The Red rocks Trail is a relatively long Trail with a 6-mile lollipop loop compared to Trading Post Trail. This trail will take you north towards Matthew Winters Park to views of Dakota Hogback.

Although there are numerous simple hikes or numerous hikes that involve red rock formations near Denver, I feel that these two trails at Red Rocks Park are the best in terms of distance, aesthetics, and simplicity.

Do experience them if you liked the idea; it is worth it!
