Jennifer Aniston talks 'hurtful' assumption that she chose 'career over kids'

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Aniston talked about the filming of the "Friends" reunion and how revisiting that part of her life was more emotionally complicated than she'd expected. "It was like, 'Hi, past, remember me? Remember how that sucked? You thought everything was in front of you and life was going to be just gorgeous and then you went through maybe the hardest time in your life?'" she said. "It was all very jarring." Aniston starred in "Friends" from 1994 to 2004 and was a regular in the tabloids due to her relationship with Brad Pitt, whom she split with in 2005. She said while she was on the show, her expectations for her personal life "sort of shape-shifted." The tabloids often published pregnancy rumors and accused her of choosing her career over kids, which she said was hurtful. However, Aniston said she's ultimately grateful for the experiences, both good and bad, that have come her way.
