During an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, which will premiere on Thursday, Alec Baldwin says he did not pull the trigger on the firearm that accidentally killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the "Rust" set.

In a preview of the interview, Stephanopoulos asks Baldwin whether it was in the script for the trigger to be pulled. "No, no, no, no. I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them. Never," Baldwin says.

In an appearance on "Good Morning America," Stephanopoulos described Baldwin as "devastated" and "very candid" in the interview.
