Chef Edouardo Jordan to close Ravenna's Salare in July.

Covid restrictions in Washington state are going to be lifted by 30th June with an economic reopening. On the other hand, Seattle will lose one of its famous and acclaimed Salare days before the opening. Two-time James Beard Award-Winning chef Jordan announced the closure on an Instagram post on 8th June.

Jordan wrote an emotional closure post for Salare and informed, it is going to turn off. Tucked in Ravenna's neck of the woods, the restaurant opened in 2015 and gained fame. Jordan was named rising star chef and won Seattle's Eater "Chef of the year'.

In 2017, Jordan opened another restaurant, Junebaby, featuring Southern food. Jordan says that the pandemic took a toll on me and my business. He did everything possible to overcome the hurdles but felt like, lost his voice during the pandemic. Junebaby and Lucinda Grain bar are all set to open after the reopening.
