Person robbed at gunpoint near Union Square

At 3:26 pm Wednesday a robbery incident was reported at Stockton St. and Geary St. in San Francisco.

The suspects: three males driving a white newer-model Honda Accord with a sunroof, tinted windows, and a rear license plate that reads 7WIG277. The car has no front license plate.

Police describe one suspect as wearing a white hoodie and black sweats with a white stripe.

The second suspect is described as wearing a green jacket and black sweats. He was reportedly armed with a handgun.

The third suspect is reportedly wearing a burgundy hoodie and black sweats.

The race of the suspects was not reported.

A local resident reported that they were nearly robbed the night before on Columbus Ave. and Stockton St, less than a mile away.

In terms of robberies near Union Square, in October 2020, a man was fatally shot during a Union Square attempted robbery.

In the last six months, 1,154 robberies have occurred in San Francisco and over 16,000 incidents of theft have been reported.
