Domino's opens new store in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX. - Domino's opened its newest store in Lubbock, Texas, on New Year's Eve. It is now looking for management and delivery positions.

The store, located at 7611 82nd St., is locally owned by Larry Vigil, who started with the company as a delivery driver back in 1978. The new store features a lobby with indoor seating, free Wi-Fi access for customers, and a drive-thru window for those seeking to pick up their orders.

We hope the community will give us a try as we are eager to offer our delicious products, exceptional service, and innovative ordering technology," Vigil said.

He also added that they are currently looking to fill positions such as general managers, assistant managers, customer service representatives, and delivery drivers.

Those interested in applying can do so through Domino's job website (jobs.dominos.com). According to Vigil, the company has "a lot of great jobs to offer," making them an enticing place of employment for anyone searching for an opportunity with a top-tier organization.

The new Lubbock-based store isn't the only one Domino's has opened recently either - in 2021 alone, they opened stores across North America, including ones located in North Carolina (Morganton), Georgia (Flowery Branch), Arkansas (Paragould), and Ontario (Kingston).

Each location features different amenities, such as an express pickup counter ("Grab & Go") at their Elmwood Park location or more traditional dining experiences like those available at their Georgetown outlet, where customers can order from behind-the-counter menus.

Domino's has certainly come a long way from its humble beginnings when it was founded by Tom Monaghan and his brother James in 1960. Today, it stands as one of the leading pizza delivery companies worldwide, with over 17 thousand stores spread across 85 countries around the globe.

The opening of this new store comes not only right before the start of 2021 but also during one of the most challenging years in recent memory due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which disrupted daily life all over the world through lockdowns and other related measures.

Nevertheless, the fact that Domino's could open new stores throughout 2020 despite these difficult conditions speaks volumes about its resilience as an international chain of restaurants.

Domino's has been working hard to help people affected by COVID-19. They have launched initiatives to provide financial assistance through scholarships and free pizzas for hungry families. Additionally, they are taking steps to keep customers safe by offering contactless deliveries and payments.

Domino's is expanding globally in 2021, creating more job opportunities for people at different levels within the company. With many positions available across other areas, from leadership to customer service, the new Lubbock outlet is excellent for anyone interested in making pizza deliveries or joining the management team.
