The three-course dinner features standouts like their Chawanmushi starter with main lobster, enoki, scallion, and sesame chili oil; and a choice of five main dishes, among them Steak Diane with smoked potato puree, broccolini, and mushrooms. Although Leah Spielberg Adler is no longer with us, the kitchen stays true to her legacy in the hands of Executive Chef and Restaurant Consultant Phil Kastel. Come in and try favorites like the Brioche French Toast served with berry compote and powdered sugar ($11); and the Potato Latkes & Eggs served with three pancakes, two eggs any style, and house-made apple compote and sour cream ($13).

Theía (West Hollywood)

Located in the heart of West Hollywood, Theía will be offering a three-course, prix fixe Mother’s Day brunch for $50 and regular dinner available after 3 p.m. Menu highlights include the Salmon Beet Tartare starter; entrees like Brunch Ratatouille; and dessert choices such as Coconut Rose Strawberry Custard and Pistachio Baklava.

There will be a mimosa bar cart in addition to The Amelia ($16) Mother's Day cocktail, named for the chef's mother, featuring tequila, lime juice, agave syrup, rosewater, and fresh grapefruit juice. Guests celebrating Mother’s Day will also receive a complimentary sweet treat paired with Essenza Coffee

Looking to stay home instead? Pick up a Mother's Day Elegance at Home kit for dinner, which feeds 4-6 people family style. Choices include the Pine Nut Crusted Rack of Lamb ($249) or the Roasted Salmon ($189) with side dishes and bread just like you were dining indoors. Artsy Mama

Treat mom to brunch in the arts district with extended hours from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.at Executive Chef Kris Tominaga's seasonally driven restaurant. Brunch options like Blueberry French Toast ($16) and the Popover Benedict ($20) will be available á-la-carte, and the meal includes a special surprise take-home gift for mom.

While you are there, be sure to check out the new Garden at Manuela space, offering outdoor dining, specialty dishes, and a standalone bar. This might be a great option if you can't snag a reservation at the main restaurant, which is limited.

Ray & Stark's Bar (Mid-City) 

Celebrate mom with some all-day dining and some curated art at the newly reopened LACMA! The menu is currently being revamped but will include Drink Specials and items similar to the Croque Madame with béchamel, pistachio ham, gruyere, fried organic egg, and crispy rosemary ($16); and the Roasted Squash Salad with pink lady apples, Moroccan couscous, radicchio, ricotta salata, golden raisins, and arugula ($18).

Mexican Mami

Las Brisas (Laguna Beach)

3-courses cliffside will be available for brunch with an early 8 a.m. start at Las Brisas in Laguna Beach ($72). The meal includes coffee or tea with an option to add bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Mary's for $15. Menu highlights include the Smoked Salmon Tostada to start with crema, capers, and pickled onions; and a Steak and Lobster Enchiladas main with guajillo sauce, tomatillo sauce, rice, and beans. For dessert, there are three choices include Flan and Tres Leches Cake. There will also be a kids menu available for those 12 and under ($25) and á-la-carte dinner if mom would rather sleep in.
