The Stonehouse Cafe is a wonderful hidden secret just off Rainier Avenue! I've heard so many great things about Stonehouse Café and I finally gave it a chance. They have an outdoor patio with heaters and a few indoor tables on first come first serve basis. You walk in the side door and order at the counter. My friends and I split the Chicken and Waffle, Biscuits and Gravy, Monte Cristo and Coconut Cinnamon Roll and Bloody Mary. We really wanted to order the French Toast, but they didn't have that item, so we got the Monte Cristo, which wasn't on the menu but suggested by then person working at the counter. We sat outside, it wasn't crowded and tables were fairly spaced apart. All the food delicious, but the Chicken and Waffle was better far my favorite. The chicken breast had a cornflake crust and was seasoned perfectly with the soft waffle, oh it was good! I also really enjoyed the Coconut Cinnamon roll, it was sugary soft and moist. If you're looking for a good brunch spot, I would definitely recommend The Stonehouse Cafe.
