As we reflect on a full year of celebrating Jeffersonville Fire Department's 150th Anniversary, we sit down with Deputy Chief, Jason Sharp, to discuss this great year in the department's history. We make our way to both Pennsylvania and New York, as we head northeast towards New England, for one last big adventure before the baby comes. We stop at Presque Isle in Erie Pennsylvania, then stay the night at a harbor in New York. In day two of our trip, we have chicken wings in Buffalo, and visit Niagra Falls for the first time. This is just video one of a multi part series in New England. We drive through nine states on this trip and see as much of the Northeast as possible. We see endless beauty, learn a ton about our country's history, and eat a lot of great food. We're really looking forward to sharing our last big trip as just E & J with you guys.

Continuing our coverage of the 150th Anniversary of the Jeffersonville Fire Department, this video show cases four of the most devastating fires in the history of Jeffersonville. The Howard Steamboat Museum caught fire in 1971, but the building was ultimately salvaged and still flourishes to this day. Other major fires include: Wall Street United Methodist Church, The Quadrangle, and Horner Novelty. Watch as retired fire fighters and Jeffersonville natives, speak on these massive fires that left their mark on the city.

What a lovely way to spend our last day of anniversary camping trip, by kayaking Sugar Creek and ending it with a delicious pizza party!! Watch as we paddle down the creek and enjoy the beautiful scenery, make a pit stop at a historical red covered bridge, and finish a great day off by making homemade pizza in a cast iron skillet over a fire. In part one, of this four part series, we drive to Shades, set up camp, and eat quite the dinner! We are very excited to bring you these videos, because we had control over all of the shots and feel like this is where we want to be quality wise.

While most of our videos will be travel based, this video is all about firefighter training in our hometown. Join us as we spend a day with the Jeffersonville Fire Department recruits of 2021. We tag along as the recruits train on safety and survival by bailing out of windows, breaking through walls, and using ropes to rescue an injured person. After that, they dive straight into live fire training at JFD's brand new training facility.
