This is an easy, quick, and delicious, pizza dip that you can make in less than 20 minutes. It is good hot and served with chips and a salad, or room temperature and served with Melba toast.
If I can get my hands on some pizza dough, I will also add the crust for the extra bonus! We’re having our annual turkey dinner on Thursday, and I wanted to have some sort of easy appetizer for the family, so after a few googles, I came up with this recipe.
Pepperoni Pizza Dip With Cream Cheese
Ingredients
½ cup butter, room temperature
1/8 cup pepperoni, diced
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1-2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
In a small skillet, fry pepperoni until brown and crisp (about 30 seconds on each side), remove from the skillet, let cool then set aside. Lightly melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add Tabasco sauce and stir until butter melts. Add cream cheese and stir until smooth. Then add cooked pepperoni, mix until evenly distributed. Pour into a small bowl, or individual small dishes; sprinkle each dish with 1/4-1/2 cup shredded cheese. Bake at 350° F for 10-15 minutes, or until firm and the cheese has melted. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
These would be great, and extra delicious made with chicken or turkey crust.
Honey Garlic Turkey with Pomegranate
Here is my other go-to recipe for making sure everyone gets their favorite dish! It’s super easy and has loads of fresh vegetables in it. The gravy is also from scratch. I will not even get into the green bean casserole because I have a couple of allergies. But for the people who are able to have some, I have tried to make this ahead of time, so it is fresh and flavorful. For more tips, and this delicious turkey dish.
Enjoy!
