In Search of a Good Cheeseburger

I had nothing to do today, so I searched for a good cheeseburger on The Garden Island. It's been over a month since I settled into my new job. I used to be able to search for many eateries on Oahu and write about my experiences, but I was only able to do a little to find restaurants and eateries on the island. I took some family members to the south shore and came across Bubba Burger in Poipu. I ordered a double Bubba burger with cheese and everything on it.

Here is my review.

Final Thoughts

The cheeseburger was a little pricey for the serving size, but it made up for that with the taste. I haven't been to Poipu in years; it reminded me of times when I was a youth. What I should have realized was the additions and improvements in Poipu. They have a roundabout intersection in the area that I forgot or never knew existed. There was no wait time because we went at about 3:30 p.m., and it was between lunch and dinner. I liked the taste of Bubba's burgers, but the serving size was small.

I visited other eateries and restaurants I reviewed before, so I knew what to expect. However, today was the first time I searched for eateries on Kauai to eat at and review on my blogs. I'll do more restaurant reviews on the island and the rest of Hawaii and post them on my blogs over the next several months.

Street Food Vending to Stop in December

Barbecued Pork Chop Recipe

I found several more recipes from my grandma’s and mom’s recipe binder and box. Here is a recipe I haven’t tried for a while, but I remember it as a youth. Season with salt and pepper. Combine the remaining ingredients separately, and pour over the pork chops in a baking pan. Bake the pork chops at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn the pork chops over after 30 minutes, and bake for 1 to 1.5 hours or until tender.

Do You Tip at Restaurants
