Zion National Park | Beautiful Nature of Southwest Utah | Most Visited Place in Utah | 2021
Hello Everyone! Welcome to Zion National Park! This is 1st National Park in the State of Utah. It is located in southwestern Utah near the town of Springdale. A prominent feature of the 229-square-mile (590 km2) park is Zion Canyon, which is 15 miles (24 km) long and up to 2,640 ft (800 m) deep. The geology of the Zion and Kolob canyons area includes nine formations that together represent 150 million years of mostly Mesozoic-aged sedimentation - so by visiting this place you are visiting awesome nature and very old place on Earth. Important information: there is a shuttle bus service which is free (no tickets needed). Park shuttle runs from the visitor center up the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive to destinations like the Zion Lodge and trailheads, including Emerald Pools, West Rim, and Temple of Sinawava where hikers depart for the Narrows. There is no other way to get to those locations. You won't be able to drive to those locations. For more information visit: www.nps.gov/zion
