Muir Woods National Monument | Tallest Trees in the World | Redwood Trees | San Francisco Bay Area

Hello Everyone! Welcome to California! This is Muir Woods National Monument which is part of California’s Golden Gate National Recreation Area, north of San Francisco. It’s known for its towering old-growth redwood trees. Trails wind among the trees to Cathedral Grove and Bohemian Grove, and along Redwood Creek. Located 12 miles away from the city of San Francisco - this is one of the most popular places to visit in Bay Area, and also one of rare places in the country, because you will see the tallest trees in the world.
