Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona. Built in 1935, opened in 1936 - this Art-Deco colossal structure still is a wonder in the middle of dry and dusty deserted area. That's why about 7 million visitors annually come here to see it.
