A Fantastic Immersion Into The History Of Early Seattle!

My family and I had a great time learning about the history of Seattle at Beneath The Streets Underground History Tour. It is a one-hour guided tour that takes you through Pioneer square and its hidden passageways.

We got to know a great deal about Pioneer Square by walking its underground pathways. However, the thing that made this tour stand out were the pathways that exist since the 1980s, providing plenty of nostalgic vibes.

We bought tickets for four of us from Trip Advisor. Interestingly, unlike the name suggests, the tour saw us spend little time underground and more time above the ground. And I do confess that for me, the time I spent above the ground was better than the time I spent underground. It was mainly because I was more interested in learning about the history of Seattle’s historic sites.

However, my family members loved their time underground more than above the ground due to the unique experience and vibes that the underground area possesses. Moreover, our tour guide, Rod, further spiced up our tour with his splendid communication skills and scintillating bits of knowledge about the site. This made sure that we didnt lost our interest at any instance of our tour, be it underground or above the ground.

The tour also kept the COVID protocols in check, and everyone on tour had their masks on, and the staff did wonders to create a pleasant, socially distanced environment throughout our tour.

I found our one hour spent at “Beneath The Streets Underground History Tour” an excellent investment of time to learn more about Seattle’s history, and It doesn’t matter whether you are into Seattle’s history or not; this tour has something for someone at some stage.
