Sushi is kind of a tough subject when it comes to narrowing down three of the best options, especially within San Diego which is filled with options pretty much on every major street. I definitely can not say that I have been to every single sushi spot in San Diego, in fact, I do not think I have even been to half of the spots near me. I have, however, been many of the top recommended spots, the most popular ones that people usually rave about. Sushi is pretty subjective, everyone kind of looks for different things in sushi so it is difficult to make a definitive list. However, for this list, I have compiled both my personal ratings and feelings with a plethora of reviews from other websites and just the general sentiment surrounding these spots.

There are probably hundreds if not thousands of ramen spots throughout the city of San Diego, so it can be quite difficult to narrow down the spots that are worth trying. With that being said, I want to make it clear that I by no means claim that I have tried every ramen spot in San Diego, but there are quite a few spots that I have tried, namely the most popular ones and some smaller, hole in the wall spots as well. So, you can say I am pretty well versed in the ramen world, but it would be impossible to try every single ramen spot in San Diego. Of course, this is all pretty subjective and everyone can have very different tastes when it comes to what we look for in a bowl of ramen, but this is a compilation of reviews that are based on my personal experience as well as ratings found on the internet. Like I always say, I am not a fan of spicy food, so there could very well be really delicious and amazing spicy ramen dishes out there, but I for one can not be one to judge for that, unfortunately. But nonetheless we continue.

Of course, this is all pretty subjective and everyone can have very different tastes when it comes to chicken sandwiches, but a compilation of reviews that are based off my personal experience as well as ratings found on the internet. For me personally, I can not speak for the spicy chicken sandwich lovers out there (I am so sorry) because I simply do not enjoy spice and I prefer to eat my chicken sandwiches naked with no spice. I know there are a lot of spicy fans out there so that is why I also included ratings and reviews from other sources that would encompass the opinions of spicy chicken sandwich fans.

Read full storyTop Revolving Sushi Spot in Los Angeles - Kura Revolving Sushi
Kura Sushi is a revolving sushi concept and they currently have over 450 locations across Japan, Taiwan, and the United States. Revolving sushi is where fresh sushi comes out on a conveyor belt and hungry customers eating at the tables can take the type of sushi they want right off of the conveyor belt and onto their table. Each type of sushi that comes out on the conveyor belt typically comes in a set of two, unless it is an especially special or rare type or cut of fish, with a set price per plate. You could also choose specific dishes on the touch screen and the order will be made immediately and “bullet-trained” to your desk via a separate conveyor belt that is much faster. They also offer ramen, udon, curry, and other various sides and desserts to accompany your sushi meal. Currently, they are offering takeout for their sushi but ensuring the same quality of sushi and freshness. Another special feature of their concept is the ability to win cute or fun prizes after you eat a certain number of plates. The idea is to collect as many plates as possible by taking plates off the conveyor belt and eating them. At the end, there is a slot for you to insert your plates, after a certain number of plates, there will be an animation that shows whether you won or not (randomly). Prizes include keychains, stickers, figurines, and more. They usually have a specific anime or Japanese culture related theme.
