Today, I would like to talk to you about a great recipe that you can easily prepare in your kitchen: Original Ramadan Pide.
The crust of homemade pide is a little thicker and the inside is a little fuller. It's crispy, the crust is crispy. But it softens as you wait. Therefore, if you want to eat it crispy, you should prepare it in a way that you take it out of the oven just before you eat. What about the taste? Better than ready-made pide.
Ingredients;
- 3 cups flour
- 1.5 cups of warm water
- 1 teaspoon of active yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- White and black sesame
Take water, sugar, and yeast in a deep bowl and mix, Add the flour little by little and start kneading.
Add salt from time to time and mix, Add flour and knead until you get a soft dough that sticks to the hand. Cover it for 30 min. rest.
Knead the dough again and let it rest for 30 minutes. more rest, Knead the dough once more. Sprinkle a thin layer of cornmeal or flour on the bottom of the baking tray. Take the dough on the tray and press it with your floured hands and open it in a round shape. Give a pide shape by pressing with your fingers, Brush water on the pita with the help of a brush,
Sprinkle sesame and black cumin seeds and bake in the oven preheated to 190 degrees until golden brown.
