Think about it, you are making a huge tray of cookies, and you can't find that first flavor again even after only a day has passed since they were baked...
Today I have a practical but unusual suggestion for keeping your cookies fresh.
Using this method, you can both prepare a lot of cookies at once and store them safely in a box and give that person you love a very special gift that will last a long time.
But how?
Exactly like this...
This is not usual, but a natural and comical-free way of keeping your cookies fresh.
All you need is 1 pack of tortillas.
These thin pastries help remove excess moisture from the box in which you will place the cookies.
Then you choose a metal box with a lid to place the cookies in. Metal cans also help cookies stay fresh longer due to their structure. Use the bottom of the box for the measure and cut 4 pieces of parchment paper.
Place one piece of the parchment paper you cut before and put a tortilla on it, and cover the tortilla with another one.
When your base is ready, place half of your cookies on this base, and cover the cookies with a piece of parchment paper again. Place the remaining cookies last.
The order is :
Parchment paper -> Tortilla -> Parchment paper -> Half of the cookies -> Parchment paper -> other half of the cookies
You are ready!
PS: With this method, you can keep the cookies fresh like just baked for 2-3 days, and can be safely consumed for at least 1 week.
