The theme plays a significant role in float preparation for the parade, so the committee is urging the community to participate in the Theme Contest and submit their ideas by the deadline at 4:30 pm on October 6, 2023. The contest is open to all, and the winner will receive a gift and be invited to ride in a vehicle during the parade.

Past themes have included "A Christmas Storybook," "Traditions of Christmas" and "Christmas Around the World". This year's theme is sure to inspire floats and decorations that capture the holiday spirit and bring joy to parade-goers of all ages.
