The Local Marshfield Business You Won't Want to Miss on National Donut Day

Dianna Carney

(MARSHFIELD, MA) Friday, June 2nd is National Donut Day- and what better way to celebrate than with a delicious, gourmet donut that supports a local small business?

SlackTide Coffee, located in the seaside town of Marshfield, has revealed three special, limited-edition donuts that will only be available this month. These donuts are made fresh every morning from Tuesday to Sunday, including on National Donut Day. The best part about these yummy sweet treats is that they're made with love by a team of bakers overseen by the owner's mother!

The three limited edition flavors offer something for everyone, from the sweetness of lemon to the tanginess of coconut. Check out all three below...

Lemon Poppy Seed Donut

"Lemon and poppy seed cake donut, dipped in a vanilla and lemon glaze."

Raspberry Boston Creme

"Brioche donut filled with a whipped raspberry pastry cream, dipped in a chocolate icing and topped with a white chocolate drizzle."

Coconut Lime Donut

"Brioche donut with a coconut butter cream, topped with toasted coconut and lime drizzle."

To try out one of these limited edition donuts for yourself, be sure to stop by SlackTide Coffee- and the earlier in the morning, the better, because these delicious pastries sell out fast! SlackTide Coffee is located at 1871 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
