(PLYMOUTH, MA) If you were a fan of Isaac's, which previously offered delicious food and a stunning view of Plymouth Harbor, you're in for a treat! The original owner of Isaac's has obtained the space and has been renovating the building in preparation for a grand reopening that is coming up soon.

The restaurant space formerly occupied by Isaac's on Plymouth Harbor has now been renamed to 71° West Restaurant. It will offer a completely different and unique concept, design, and menu from its sister restaurant across town, 42° North. At the new establishment, the focus will be on steaks and seafood, with a special emphasis on the steak component. You'll be able to enjoy amazing panoramic views of Plymouth's historic waterfront while dining at the restaurant.

71° West Restaurant’s renovation is nearly complete, and the team is excited to announce that the outdoor seating area on the second-floor deck is currently under construction. The establishment shared that the seating area will be entirely open-air, with glass walls and roof structures removed to give diners an unobstructed view of the picturesque harbor and the Mayflower. The restaurant is also planning some surprises to make your dining experience on the deck even more special.

In their latest update on May 24, 2023, the 71° West Restaurant team shared a photo of the deck's progress with their followers, giving them a sneak peek of what to expect. The day after, on May 25, they revealed another photo showing off the new hardwood floors in the restaurant, replacing the previous wall-to-wall carpeting, which adds to the restaurant's fresh and modern look.

If you're wondering about the history behind the new restaurant, Hynes Restaurant Group shared that "this specific restaurant has history for us as Hynes Restaurant Group founder Kevin Hynes was the original owner of Isaac's (along with two partners) when it was first built in 1990, before selling his stake several years later to focus on other projects.".

While the official opening date has not been announced yet, with the floor finally installed and the tourism season already underway, it's sure to be just around the corner!
