(MENDON, MA) The Mendon Twin Drive-In revealed on the morning of Monday, May 29, 2023, that they would be showing the Memorial Day Celtics game that night and offering free admission! Fans of the team are invited to enjoy game 7 on the big screen, all while sitting comfortably in their cars.

The drive-in, which first opened its doors in 1954, has long been a staple of the community. With two movie screens, the latest digital projection and Dolby Digital sound, and a snack bar that offers fresh popcorn, burgers, and even ice cream, the Mendon Twin Drive-In has something for everyone while keeping the entire family entertained! The local drive-in made the announcement on social media that they would be offering free admission for one night only, stating:

“We are showing game 7 tonight. FREE admission Wear green. No Heat fans. Come early for dinner, ice cream, and 6 beers on tap. Any questions?”

When one devastated teacher who couldn’t attend voiced their sadness, the local small business had the cheeky response, “that’s what “personal days” are for”!

The Mendon Twin Drive-In has always been committed to offering affordable family entertainment, and tonight's free admission is just one example of that commitment. So grab your friends and family, load up the car, and head on over to the Mendon Twin Drive-In for a night of fun, food, and basketball.
