(BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS) Calling all gardening enthusiasts or those looking to dip their toes in the dirt! You’re invited to come together and exchange seeds, share your knowledge and experiences, and connect with like-minded individuals.

What is a Seed Swap?

The idea behind a seed swap is to bring any extra half-opened packets of seeds or saved seeds and trade them with others for different kinds of seeds you are looking for. Community seed swaps are a great way to diversify your garden, try new varieties, and make use of seeds that would otherwise go to waste.

Where Is The Seed Swap?

The Trustees are hosting a community seed swap event that will take place in collaboration with The Food Project and Dorchester Food Coop at the Dudley Greenhouse in the Boston Community Gardens.

The free event is open to everyone, regardless of experience level, so whether you are a seasoned gardener or just getting started, you are welcome to attend. The event even invites those who have never gardened before, stating, "even if you don’t have seeds to share, come pick some up!"
