(CAPE COD, MASSACHUSETTS) Calling all Star Wars fans! The Cape Symphony is thrilled to announce that they will be presenting Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert.
This exciting event will feature screenings of the complete film with Oscar-winning composer John Williams’ musical score performed live to the film. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the magic of Star Wars in an entirely new way.
The concert will be led by the talented Artistic Director & Conductor Jung-Ho Pak, who will bring his unique vision and interpretation to this timeless classic.
The Cape Symphony explains:
“Jung-Ho Pak is described by the New York Times as a conductor who "radiates enthusiasm" and by the Los Angeles Times as "a real grabber.” Jung-Ho began his tenure as Artistic Director & Conductor of the Cape Symphony in 2007. Since then, the Cape Symphony has become one of the fastest growing symphonies with one of the largest audiences in the New England region.”
With Jung-Ho Pak’s expert guidance, the audience will be swept away by the iconic music of John Williams while watching one of the most beloved films of all time on the big screen. “Of course, I’m an enormous fan of John Williams,” said Pak. “I’ve performed his iconic movie music many times but never live with a film; it will be a privilege for me and a terrifically exciting event for the audience.”
