Located on Main Street in Brockton, Cape Cod Cafe, which was established in 1939, prides itself in being "the original bar pizza." On Tuesday, March 21st, the local establishment went far from their original bar pizza when they revealed that the special pizza of the day was Thanksgiving flavored! The restaurant explained the toppings as:

  • House roasted turkey
  • Mashed stuffing
  • Topped with cranberry jelly
  • House gravy

Within two hours of the announcement, the post had garnered over 150 reactions, and 60 comments, with the community split down the middle. Some locals support the new innovation, stating, “I feel like my kid would devour this,” and tagging their friends with the message, “looks like we’re making a trip!"

Other fans of Cape Cod Cafe were disappointed by the new menu addition, stating, “I don't know about this one. Doesn't sound appealing. And I never thought I could ever say that about a Cape Cod pizza.” Some comments brought attention to the timing, which surprised some as it was only a day after the first day of Spring, noting, "Nothing screams spring like thanksgiving on a pizza.”
