(BRIDGEWATER, MASSACHUSETTS) On Monday, March 20th, the Bridgewater Senior Center shared an exciting announcement on Facebook! The Bridgewater Senior Center has revealed that there is a new plan for an amazing landscape design that will make the Senior Center look even more beautiful. This design will not only make the Bridgewater Senior Center campus look great, but it will also help the environment in many ways!

What Does The New Design Include?

The Bridgewater Senior Center has announced that a comprehensive, sustainable landscape design has been created to enhance the natural beauty of the Senior Center campus and focus on environmental benefits that include:

  • Wetlands
  • Intergenerational community gardens
  • Outdoor dining
  • Walking trails
  • Adult recreation

How Was The Design Planned?

The community's input was taken into account when designing the master plan, which includes the schematic design for the dining patio and community gardens, pending funding approval.

How Can You Learn More?

Landscape architect Melissa Desjardin will be leading a presentation on future Senior Center campus design plans for residents of all ages to enjoy. The meeting will be a hybrid meeting, meaning the public can attend in person or via Zoom.
