(MARSHFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS) The 2023 Marshfield St. Patrick's Day 5K took place yesterday, Saturday, March 18th, and it did not disappoint! Known as 'America's Most Irish Road Race', this South Shore tradition has been raising money to benefit the Marshfield Education Foundation for years. The 2023 attendance numbers are still being totaled, but previous years welcomed over 4,000 participants who showed up to run, walk, and crawl the 5K route!

The full list of 2023 results has not been yet posted, but the Marshfield St. Patrick's Day 5K has revealed a few highlights of champs so far:

  • Devan Kipyego from Warwick, RI, one of the top High School runners in the country, dropping a 14:46
  • Sarah Brown, who set a new course record of 16:15, from Weymouth, former Tennessee Volunteer and US National team member

The Marshfield St. Patrick's Day 5K is more than just a race; it's a community event that brings people together for a good cause. Congratulations to all the participants and organizers for another successful year!
