If you missed the tree lighting ceremony in Santa Fe Plaza this past Friday, do not worry - you have another chance this Thursday, December 2nd.
It might not be the tree in the main Plaza downtown, but the Four Seasons Resort at Rancho Encantado in Tesuque (near Santa Fe) is hosting their 7th annual tree lighting ceremony from 6:00pm - 7:30pm.
Join them for festive food and beverages including assorted holiday cookies, apple cider and spiced hot chocolate.
During the ceremony, guests will have the opportunity to take part in the Gingerbread Silent Auction, featuring gingerbread creations made by Girls Inc. of Santa Fe. All proceeds will go directly to the non-profit organization.
This is a free event for the community.
For 65 years, Girls Inc. of Santa Fe has been focusing on the full development of girls from ages 5 - 18, teaching them how to value themselves, take risks, and both discover and develop inner and outer strengths.
This is done through a combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-female environment, and research-based programming. The organization also advocates for legislation and policies to increase opportunities and rights for all girls.
The Four Seasons is a luxury resort in Santa Fe. It consists of 65 suites and casitas on 57 acres in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, just outside Tesuque (near Santa Fe).
Now who can pass up some free hot chocolate and possibly a gingerbread house this holiday season?
