According to Yelp reviews, Sapori Di 786 Degrees, located in Pasadena, California is the best pizza restaurant in the US and Canada. On Yelp’s top pizza spots in the U.S. and Canada, Sapori Di 786 Degrees is number 1.

Ali Haider and Sayyeda Ali are the owners of 786 Degrees Wood Fired Pizza Co. They opened the restaurant in 2013. 

Ali, who is a major gourmand, has been promoting automobile brands as a spokesmodel for years, which has required him to travel considerably. During their honeymoon in Italy, the pair had their first Neapolitan Margherita, and that was the "Ah ha!" moment for them.

Ali discovered a new hobby. His strong urge to find the best local street food led him to discover the ideal balance of local flavors and gourmet ingredients.

In order to learn from the best, he returned to the birthplace of pizza, Naples, Italy, where he learned under Master Pizzaiolos, the Artisanal skill of classic Italian cookery delivering the greatest pizza in California. 

Now, he and the restaurant hold the title of making one of the best pizzas in California, nationally, and internationally.
