With over 1,600 reviews on Yelp and almost 1,200 of them being 5 stars reviews, Bida Manda is the best-reviewed Chinese restaurant in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Bida Manda was founded in 2012 by Vansana and Vanvisa Nolintha.

Bida Manda, located in the center of downtown Raleigh, is a smart and elegant local that celebrates Laos' unique food and culture. Bida Manda was one of the earliest Laotian restaurants in the United States. The founders, Vansana and Vanvisa Nolintha named the restaurant Bida Manda after their parents who live in Laos, and who taught them about cuisine, hospitality, and the power that food has to bring people together.

The meal is inspired by their parents' recipes. Every meal on the menu is exactly what Vansana and Vanvisa Nolintha ate as children. They're the type of foods people would find on Luang Prabang's street corners or in a Laos household.
