What you need to wear at Hawksnest Tubing Park

Winter clothing that is both safe and comfortable for winter activities is required at Hawksnest Tubing Park.

Hawksnest recommends that visitors wear warm, well-insulated layers with a waterproof outer layer, winter hats, gloves, and boots. Waterproof clothes items are needed.

However, if you don't have what you need, the park has a gift shop where you can buy winter hats, gloves, and snow pants.

Hawksnest recommends making reservations in advance. Hawksnest has limited the number of people who can attend each session.

Usually, tickets for weekends and holidays are limited and sell out quickly, often weeks in advance. If the tickets haven't already sold out online in advance, Hawksnest only has day-of walk-up tickets available.

All reservations must be made through the website. Tickets for same-day events cannot be purchased online. Tickets must be purchased at least one day in advance.

Hawksnest recommends that visitors arrive 30-45 minutes before your scheduled session time. This gives everyone enough time to park, check-in, get their tickets, and get in line before the session starts.

If visitors need to make changes to the reservation, they have up to 48 hours to make changes or reschedule the reservation. Tickets purchased in advance can be canceled and partially refunded up to 72 hours in advance. Each ticket has a $5 cancellation fee; the remaining balance is completely refundable. There will be no refunds issued within 72 hours of the reservation.

Children under 3 years old and pregnant women

Hawksnest doesn't offer any activities suitable for children under the age of three. Moreover, there are no play places for children who are not snow tubing.

Children who are too short or unable to reach their feet to the ground to stop themselves at the bottom of the run must ride with an adult.

Anyone wanting to go snow tubing needs their own individual ticket, even young children riding with an adult.

Hawksnest does not advise anyone who is pregnant or has physical limitations or pre-existing conditions to go snow tubing.

Even when there is no natural snow, Hawksnest maintains a heavy snow base and makes snow as needed, depending on the weather.

People can check the current conditions on their live webcam.
