Peddler’s Village in New Hope, PA, is hosting their 42nd annual Scarecrows in the Village event from September 6 through October 30. Guests can vote on the scarecrows in the following categories: Traditional, Quite the Character, Thrills with Chills, Myth & Lore, Upcycled Crow, Pink Out!, and Kids Only! Scarecrow. Stop by Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA, for their Halloween Spooktacular event from September 18 to November 7. Guests can arrive in their costumes and participate in trick-or-treating, a scarecrow scavenger hunt and Halloween-themed rides and shows. Sesame Street characters will also be on-site for guests to take photos with.
On October 31, Sesame Place will be hosting a costume contest with prizes available for best child and family costumes. Prize giveaways are limited to the first 70 children who sign up and the first 30 families who sign up. More details will be available soon on their website.

Betsy Ross House
The Betsy Ross House in Philadelphia, PA, is hosting Spooky Twilight Tours on Friday nights beginning on October 8 and running through October 29. Each tour will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Each tour will explore what it was like to live in Philadelphia in the 1700s, and how diseases such as smallpox and yellow fever affected the community. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, guests must purchase their tickets online ahead of time on their website.

Shady Brook Farm
Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, PA, is running their annual Fall Festival beginning September 24. The attractions will include a spooky light show, wagon rides, a corn maze, sunflower, apple and pumpkin picking, and lastly live performances and bonfires each weekend.
During the week, tickets cost $12 online, and $15 at the door. On the weekends, tickets cost $20 online and $25 at the door. Note that weekend hours begin Friday at 5 p.m. Each ticket is timed and there is no limit for how long guests can spend at the farm.

Linvilla Orchards, located in Media, PA, is celebrating 50 years of Pumpkinland! This exhibit is open to visitors from mid-September to the beginning of November. Other attractions fit for people of all ages include the petting zoo, beer garden, fall harvest and hayrides. Guests can also pick their own apples, play in the corn maze and explore carved jack-o-lanterns on display.
