In Colorado are the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains. 

Moreover, Colorado is the eighth most extensive and 21st most populous U.S. state. In 2020, the Colorado population was 5,773,714.

Colorado is a beautiful place, with lots of locations that need to be visited at least once in your life. Many movies were filmed in this state due to the breathtaking locations Colorado has.

1. Cop Car

Cop Car is a 2015 American road thriller film co-written and directed by Jon Watts. In the movie starred Kevin Bacon, Shea Whigham, Camryn Manheim, James Freedson-Jackson, and Hays Wellford. 

The movie is about two young boys and juvenile delinquents who come across and hijack the abandoned police car of a corrupt sheriff. 

Cop Car premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival and was released in the United States on August 7, 2015, by Focus World. Cop Car received mainly positive reviews from critics but was not commercially successful, earning $143,000 on a $5 million budget.

The City of Fountain is a Home Rule Municipality located in El Paso County, Colorado, United States.

It is located 10 miles south of downtown Colorado Springs and just east of Fort Carson. Fountain and the Colorado Springs suburbs Security and Widefield make up the "Fountain Valley" community.


Quinlan County (where the action happens in the movie) doesn't exist in CO. According to Bacon, this city is supposed to be set in Fountain, CO, just south of Colorado Springs and a part of El Paso County.

The license plate on the cop car is a Colorado government plate. The county on the side of the cop car is a city found in Texas, located in Hunt County.

2. Blades of Glory

Blades of Glory is a 2007 American sports comedy film directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck. In the movie stars Will Ferrell and Jon Heder.

They play a mismatched pair of banned figure skaters who become teammates upon discovering a loophole that will allow them to compete in the sport again.

The film was produced by DreamWorks Pictures, MTV Films, Red Hour, and Smart Entertainment and released on March 30, 2007, by Paramount Pictures.

The Prestige is a 2006 psychological thriller film directed by Christopher Nolan, written by Nolan and his brother Jonathan. The movie is based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Christopher Priest.

The movie is about Robert Angier and Alfred Borden, two rival stage magicians in London at the end of the 19th century. Obsessed with creating the best stage illusion, they engage in competitive one-upmanship, with fatal results.
