This annual project will be followed by many restaurants in the Charlotte area. Some of the participating restaurants are Brazwells Pub, Capishe Real Italian Kitchen, Comet Grill, Piedmont Social House, and Roots Cafe. A list of the other participating partners can be checked on the Humane Society of Charlotte’s website.
Every group that participating in this event will be donating its proceeds partially. Customers who mention R4R every time they place the order at the participating restaurants will be part of the project as the proceeds from their order will go to this project’s donation.
You can also join the project by becoming a participating bar, restaurant, or brewery. Registration for participating vendors can be done by completing the registration form on the website. Apart from raising donations for the Humane Society of Charlotte, this project also aims to help local businesses that are affected during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Humane Society of Charlotte or HSC was founded in July 1978 and is located in Toomay Avenue, Charlotte. It is a non-profit corporation that adheres to a no-kill philosophy which means saving all animals that need help. It is achieved with four programs: prevention, retention, placement, and education.
The goal of this organization is to build a world where there are no more homeless and unwanted animals by providing low-cost fees for adoption. Other than that, this organization also provides education and information related to how to treat animals.
If you are interested in adopting, donating, or participating in HSC events, you can directly visit their website.
