MOORESVILLE, NC - Planning to hold your wedding outdoors? Carrigan Farms offers the solution with its experienced outdoor wedding planners, backed by natural quarry scenery to enhance your once-in-a-lifetime experience. Get started with this simple guide:
- Reserve your date
The reservation system is first-come, first-serve basis. The quarry can accommodate up to 1,000 guests and can hold two events per day. The morning wedding's earliest hour is at 9.30 a.m and usually lasts until 3 p.m, while the evening wedding usually starts at 5 p.m until midnight. Summer access may be restricted due to Open Swim events, while access times for October are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights only. - Deposit to seal your reservation
The Carrigan Farms charges $2,000 for Saturday night deposit and $1,000 for other days. Reservations are only valid when The Farms has confirmed the deposit. - Choose your menu
Most food will be organically picked from The Farms, so choose the menus that correspond with the season's harvest. Pick a main course, six appetizers, side dishes, and desserts from the available list that will be provided by the team. Beer, wine, and mixed beverages must be purchased from The Farms. - Choose your music
The quarry is equipped with speakers throughout the venue that can be plugged with any devices like your iPod, iPhone, laptop, etc. DJs are allowed to plug into the in-house system. Meanwhile, bands had to bring their own sound equipment. - Choose your lighting and decoration
The quarry will provide adequate lighting along the rock wall and boardwalk. The pavilion will be covered in white Christmas lights to enliven the romantic atmosphere. An advanced lighting upgrade is available upon request.
The quarry is naturally beautiful so decorations are optional. Any decoration that can be blown by the wind like confetti, glitter, fake flower petals, and sky lanterns is prohibited.
These are just five simple guides to help you get started on planning the big day. When you have set a date, consult the wedding team for further guidance.
