NASHVILLE, TN - Operation Stand Down Tennessee, or OSTN, in partnership with Nashville's intellectual property and technology law firm, Patterson Intellectual Property Law Group and BATL, presents Ax Throwing Meet Up for veterans across Nashville and Davidson County. The event is scheduled to be held next Tuesday, Aug. 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Battle Ax Throwing League, or BATL arena in East Nashville.
The ax-throwing meetup event is free and limited to 75 participants. Join with friends and veterans communities across Nashville and Davidson County with ax throwing sessions, outdoor activities, enjoying food and drinks, and getting to know better with the communities and fellow veterans.
Veterans can join in several single or group ax-throwing sessions, practice throwing accuracy with types of equipment and targets prepared by BATL, and compete for scores with fellow veterans. There are also several local food trucks across Nashville participating in the event, serving veterans with locals' signature dishes and beverages that can be purchased in the area.
Interested veterans can register for their space on the website https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/veteran-meet-up-axe-throwing-tickets-167463611169?aff=ebdssbdestsearch&keep_tld=1. The committee encourages all participants and members in the Ax Throwing Meetup event to practice COVID health protocol including wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and personal hygiene.
OSTN is a non-profit that focuses on connecting veterans across Nashville and Middle Tennessee together in several events and programs, creating a safe space for veteran communities to share experiences and develop skillsets and knowledge that are useful in everyday life, support those who are facing difficult times during their retirement period, and building a positive and healthy life outlook.
