NASHVILLE, TN — Contour Airline just announce a new nonstop service flight from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, or GSP, to Nashville International Airport, or BNA, starting from Nov. 17, 2021.
GSP is the first airport in South Carolina to offer nonstop flight service with Contour Airlines to BNA. The added flight service will serve customers five times a week, except Tuesdays and Saturdays. The flight will take about 1 hour from both BNA or GSP airports.
Dave Edwards, President and CEO of the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District, mentioned that Nashville was the top requested destination for years. He is excited to announce the new flight route from GSP to BNA, either for business or leisure, by cutting several hours on the road to one hour. Edwards also welcomes the partnership with Contour Airline by bringing passengers to new places across the United States.
“I know that Upstate travelers will appreciate the speed, comfort, and convenience of nonstop air service to Nashville. The ability to replace all-day drives with an hour-long flight will enhance productivity for business travelers and give leisure travelers additional time to enjoy all that Music City has to offer,” said Matt Chaifetz, chief executive officer of Contour.
For this flight to Nashville, Contour will be using 30-seat Embraer ERJ-135 and Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft with a minimum of 36 inches of legroom in every row. The starting price of a flight ticket from GSP to BNA will start at $99 one-way.
