NASHVILLE, TN - Nashville's most loved venues, EXIT/IN is in dire help to defend the building since the property has undergone a contract with a luxury hotel development firm that's purchasing independent venues. EXIT/IN is planning to purchase its property to keep providing venues for futures Nashville's local musicians and performers.

EXIT/IN asks for support and donation from the community so that the venue organizer can make a better offer to purchase the building and therefore able to retain and operate the venue. Those who wished to participate can send the donation at the website https://www.gofundme.com/f/preserve-exit-in?utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer.

Several organizations and communities have collaborated in collecting donations for EXIT/IN, including Nashville Helping Nashville and Nashville-based pop-punk group, Paramore. The band had recently collected $45,000 through the 'tiny hot topic' tees purchases from Hot Topic, which all goes to EXIT/IN to support the music venues to exist.

EXIT/IN has been providing a music venue for 50 years since its first establishment in 1971. EXIT/IN operates independently with the sole purpose to support Nashville's independent music. Many musicians and bands had made their groundbreaking debuts and show at the venue, including Johnny Cash, Talking Heads, Billy Joel, Muddy Waters, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Willie Nelson, Chuck Berry, Sharon Jones, Kings Of Leon, Cage the Elephant, and many more.

EXIT/IN has recently released the book, EXIT/IN: 50, which consists of the historical stories, footage, and coverage of music scenes growing in EXIT/IN for 50 years to restore the history. The book can be purchased at the website https://store.exitin.com/collections/fifty-years-and-counting-book.

EXIT/IN is considered as Music City's cultural asset for the community to celebrate the diversity in Nashville's music scene and still pursuing its future goal in unforeseen times.
