NASHVILLE, TN - For all motorsports fans, karting is the closest thing you can get to an actual car racing experience. It's affordable, easier to handle, and accessible in any city. Plus, nearly every professional racing driver started their career in the karting track when they were 5 to 10 years old.

Nashville also has some of the best karting tracks that you can enjoy with family and friends. Whether you want to go for recreational purposes, or want to start a professional racing career, these tracks might be a good start.

1. Music City Indoor Karting

Music City Indoor Karting is considered the best karting track in Nashville. The indoor track was opened in January 2014 and is located inside a 77,000 square foot facility. Music City Indoor Karting features 1/4 mile, very fast karting track with plenty of overtaking opportunities. Regarding safety, you don't have to worry, because the track uses TECPRO barriers which have been approved by CIK-FIA standards.

The track uses Sodi RTX electric karts, which can go up to 40 mph. For younger drivers, a speed limiter can be set into the car which allows safer racing. Besides kart racing, Music City Indoor Karting also has a racing simulator and mini-golf course.

Music City Indoor Karting is located at 400 Davidson St 403. You can also host your private events here by contacting them at 615-242-3275. Check out their facilities at their official website.

2. Grand Old Golf & Go-Karts

Grand Old Golf & Go-Karts combines an exciting kart racing experience with a fun mini-golf course. The outdoor track has been here since 1998, and it is one of the largest karting tracks in Music City. Featuring hairpin turns, fast corners, and speedy straight roads, it would be very fun to drive on this track. It's equipped with safety barriers on each side of the track, making the race much safer.

The track offers two types of kart, the single-seaters and two-seaters. The single-seaters are great for those who want a competitive race with each other, while the two-seaters are for parents and guardians who want to drive along with their kids. Both karts are gas-powered and equipped with safety harnesses and bumpers.

Whether you want to experience full-of-adrenaline kart racing, or play mini-golf, Grand Old Golf and Go-Karts got you covered. You can visit them at 2444 Music Valley Drive. Plan a private event by contacting them at 615-871-4701, and learn more about them on their official website.
